Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about our fleet, licenses, or itineraries? You'll likely find the answer below.
BOAT-RENTAL
What age do I need to be to rent a boat?
You must be at least 18 years old to rent a boat. For our no-license boats, no prior experience is required — our briefing covers everything. All passengers must comply with life jacket regulations.
What is included in the rental price?
All rentals include: fuel for the standard range, life jackets (all sizes), snorkelling gear, first aid kit, cooler box, sea map, bimini sun shade, anchor and rope. A fuel and security deposit is required at pickup and returned on safe return of the boat.
Can I travel to other islands?
With our 50HP+ boats you can reach Skopelos (50 min), Alonissos (90 min), and the Pelion coast. No-license 30HP boats are restricted to within 1 nautical mile of Skiathos coastline for safety. Our transfer service covers all island-to-island transfers.
Do I need a boat license in Greece?
No license is required for boats up to 30HP in Greece. For engines above 30HP (40HP+), a basic ΣΕΚΕ recreational license or international equivalent is required. We offer both options — browse our no-license fleet or add a professional skipper to any rental.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety first — always. If we assess conditions as unsafe (above Beaufort 5), we will reschedule your rental to the next available date or issue a full refund. Weather-related cancellations are never penalised. We monitor conditions daily from 6am.
CONTACT
What information do I need for a booking request?
Please provide the preferred date, number of people, and the type of boat or tour you are interested in. If you have a boat license, let us know.
How quickly do you respond?
We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 hours during operating hours (08:00 - 21:00).
FLEET
Do I need experience for all boats?
Only for boats with engines above 30HP if you are driving yourself. All other boats can be rented with a professional skipper, or you can drive the 30HP models with just a 15-minute briefing.
Are life jackets included?
Yes, we provide life jackets for all passengers, including dedicated sizes for children and infants. Safety is our absolute priority.
What is the most popular boat?
The Olympic 450 (No License Required) is our most popular choice for couples and families. For larger groups or long-distance exploration, our RIBs with skippers are highly recommended.
WATERSPORTS
Do I need to book in advance?
For July and August, we recommend booking jet ski and parasailing at least 24 hours ahead. For other activities and off-peak times, walk-ins are usually fine.
What is the minimum age?
Jet ski drivers must be 18+. Passengers can be younger with parent consent. Parasailing is suitable for children aged 6+ when accompanied by an adult.
Is it safe if I cannot swim?
Yes. All participants must wear high-buoyancy life jackets provided by us. Our team is fully trained in water rescue and we monitor every session from our safety boats.
TRANSFERS
Is the transfer available 24/7?
Yes. We operate round-the-clock, 365 days a year. For late-night transfers (22:00 - 06:00), we recommend booking at least 6 hours in advance.
How many passengers can fit in a taxi?
Our standard transfer boats take up to 8 passengers with luggage. For larger groups, we can deploy multiple boats simultaneously.
What happens in bad weather?
Our transfer RIBs are highly seaworthy and can operate in conditions where ferry service might be suspended. However, if conditions are genuinely unsafe, we will advise you immediately and attempt to find alternative ground transport or reschedule.
